About & data

Real park data. No noise.

waitti.me is an independent, ad-free theme park companion. Here is where the numbers come from, how they are updated and what they can—and cannot—tell you.

Our data sources

Most park data comes from the public ThemeParks.wiki API. Avonturenpark Hellendoorn uses a supplemental Queue-Times feed. We display the data supplied by these sources; we do not measure the physical queues ourselves. waitti.me is not affiliated with or endorsed by the listed parks.

What “live” means

Live API responses have a 60-second edge cache with a further 60-second background-refresh window. An open page polls every five minutes, and you can refresh manually. The park directory is cached for one hour. Feed timestamps and the time we checked the data are different; neither guarantees that a posted wait matches the queue exactly.

Missing data and park-local time

Unknown waits are never presented as a zero-minute wait. Ride status and schedules come from the provider and can change or be incomplete. Opening hours and showtimes use each park's local timezone. For cancellations, admission rules and final decisions, consult the park's official app or website.

History is not a promise

We continuously collect samples for a limited selection of popular parks. Public trends require at least 31 full days of history and samples across 31 calendar days. Park aggregates are sampled every five minutes and attraction-level readings every thirty minutes. Historical observations are not guaranteed forecasts or measurements of attendance.

Designed to stay quiet

There are no advertising banners or pop-ups. Favourites and preferences are saved locally in your browser, without a waitti.me account. Production uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate audience and performance measurement. The private analytics dashboard is not part of the public website.
